PROSYS CREATES ADVISORY BOARD
ProSys Forms General Advisory Board to Shape Long-Term Vision and Business Plan
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, 2009 May 15 – ProSys, Inc. announces today that it is creating a General Advisory Board to assist in shaping the company’s long-term vision and business plan.
The advisory board consists of experts from the fields of academia, finance and management, to name a few. On a regular basis, they will contribute to ProSys their expertise and wisdom about how to run a more efficient and economical company.
Dustin Beebe, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ProSys, served as the primary driving force behind the board's development. His vision and expectations are expressed in his comments: "The General Advisory Board is a wonderful opportunity to share our experiences with individuals who have a firm foundation and practical skills. The feedback that they provide will help us build a stronger company based on their insight. For me, each time I speak with them, it is a wonderful dialog. I look forward to what we can accomplish together."
ProSys has experienced remarkable growth, not only over the company's twenty year history but especially during the past few years. In light of this, ProSys' officers believe that now is the right time in the company's growth process to formally seek input from fellow business leaders. Although the company has always sought advice and council from trusted advisors, the formation of an official advisory board will allow ProSys to properly recognize those who give input to the vision and operation of the company.
Alan Thomas, CAE, is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Houston-based International Facility Management Association (IFMA). Thomas, one of the initial board members, shares his overall impression of the idea as well as the impacts that it can have on a company: "Creating an advisory board demonstrates the level of dedication and commitment that ProSys has to serving its customers. Today's fast-paced business environment can be complex and risky; a trusted group of advisors can give a company the competitive advantage it needs to gain clarity and focus about what matters the most." Thomas adds, "I am delighted to see ProSys build this important component and look forward to serving."
The ProSys officers have trusted and known for years those who were and are being selected to be members of the board. In addition, each of the board members has a particular area of specialization, which will vary the perspectives and enhance the suggestions brought to the table.
