American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)

The Baton Rouge section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers offers local Chemical Engineers the opportunity to stay abreast of subjects of interest and allows them to network with other professionals in the industry through monthly meetings and activities.

We are active in Baton Rouge area events as well as board members of the local Baton Rouge Section.

Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance (LCIA)


The Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance (LCIA) is a partnership between plants and suppliers, representing more than 600 members with thousands of employees from Louisiana’s petrochemical industry and related businesses. The LCIA promotes the interests of the chemical industry and related businesses by impacting the legislative process, as well as regulatory agencies, to promote a healthy, globally competitive and growing contractor and supplier community.

Our employees are active in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles area events as well as on the planning committee for the Environmental, Health and Safety Conference (EHS) sponsored by LCIA, the Louisiana Chemical Association (LCA) and the Texas Chemical Council (TCC/ACIT) held in Galveston each year.

OPC Foundation


OPC is the interoperability standard for the secure and reliable exchange of data in the industrial automation space and in other industries. It is platform independent and ensures the seamless flow of information among devices from multiple vendors. The OPC Foundation is responsible for the development and maintenance of this standard.

The International Society of Automation (ISA)


The International Society of Automation is a nonprofit professional association of engineers, technicians and others who work in the field of instrumentation, measurement and control of industrial processes. The ISA sets the standard for those who apply engineering and technology to improve the management, safety and cybersecurity of modern automation and control systems.

Our employees are members of ISA Standards Committees – 18.2 for Alarm Management, 101 for HMI and 106 for Procedural Automation, as well as board members for the local Baton Rouge Section and Director of the Management Division at the international level.
