Salespersons at ProSys provide assistance to our worldwide customers in the petrochemical and refining industries. They utilize sales techniques and tools to sell software technologies and engineering services to successfully help our customers meet their operating objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of engineering software and services
  • Help prepare estimates from documents submitted by customers/potential customers
  • Report customers' practices regarding use of company products
  • Provide an interface to the customer to communicate product or service improvements
  • Call on prospective and existing customers
  • Maintain contacts with customers in relation to their requirements
  • Inform customers of new products and services, version upgrades, services or software renewals
  • Keep informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers
  • Secure and renew orders, arrange delivery dates and other incidents to actual selling
  • Refer complaints to proper department of the company
  • Maintain sales program within the territory based in customers estimated requirements

QA Specialists at ProSys will test our proprietary software, support other departments and assist with the design of future software versions. Will monitor software development process to ensure design quality and adherence to standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze engineering and other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems using SQL 2008 and above, Windows Server 2003 and above, AgileOps
  • Develop product test design, implementation and execution
  • Develop product manuals and related documentation, test plans, and internal or external training materials when applicable
  • Ensure product features align with company and customer objectives
  • Assist engineers in configuring industrial process control systems
  • Install and configure proprietary software on customers live control systems
  • Support proprietary software on various platforms such as Honeywell TDC, Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7 and Foxboro
  • Support proprietary software on various Microsoft platforms
  • Support customers internally and externally as needed

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 5 years’ experience and proficiency installing Microsoft server software, experience with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Virtual Server/Virtual PC
  • Experience with statistical analytics
  • Experience with alarm management software a plus
  • Experience with historian, such as PI or PHD a plus
  • Experience with with VMware, vCenter, vSphere and HyperV a plus
  • Experience with Honeywell TDC, Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7 and Foxboro a plus
